In addition to the concerts we run ourselves, we have three organisations that routinely hire our building for their rehearsals and some concerts. We love having them at Christ Church!
The Songbirds are an all-female group, led by Sophie Jugé, who just love singing and perform a couple of times a year for various good causes. They also bring a touch of glamour to Marlow's musical scene!
Marlow Music Makers are a mixed-voice choir, mainly of a "certain age" but with a big local following. If you're interested in having a sociable sing, why not pop along to Christ Church one Tuesday evening? Or contact Barbara Whitehead for more information.
The Marlow Orchestra (pictured in action) is also very much a community affair and really seem to enjoy themselves! Again, new players are welcome so email them if you'd like to know more, or try dropping by Christ Church on most Thursday evenings.
Next concerts by other organisations
Same story, of course: we'd love to show you the poster for forthcoming live events but everyone has had to suspend their programmes due to Covid-19. Well, it can't last for ever... So check back in due course and we'll keep you up to date on what's coming up in Marlow.
HOWEVER, you can still participate in some great music via the magic of the internet. Here's a summer opportunity from the Marlow Gospel Choir. Check it out direct with them!
And still more, in and near Marlow:

Lea Barn near Marlow is the venue for a delightful series of Sunday afternoon concerts, with excellent tea and cakes afterwards! All free, collection for charity.
West Wycombe Chamber Music Festival is the brainchild of Lawrence Power and is surely the very best local event when it comes to serious music. Sadly, it only lasts for one weekend in September!
Wycombe Arts Festival organises an annual programme of music and other arts, in which we normally feature one of our concerts
Martin and Jean, who run this site, themselves play regularly or sometimes in:
That's only the tip of the local iceberg, there is a lot of good music locally. There's also a choice of local listing sites that promote concerts but we're happy to recommend My Marlow. Whatever your preferred style, keep music live!
